Job Description

• Implemented cost Optimization by Milk-Run, onboarding vendors with competitive rates, and identifying and delivering cost reduction resulting in a significant reduction of transportation costs

• Work together with carriers, suppliers, and outside logistics companies to plan the prompt delivery of materials and commodities.

• Examine performance indicators and logistical data to find areas that could use improvement and areas where money could be saved.

• Work together with cross-functional teams to create production schedules, forecast demand, and organize order fulfillment tasks.

• Assure adherence to industry norms and legal requirements for inventory management, storage, and transportation.

• Assess and bargain for advantageous terms and prices in contracts with logistics service providers.

• Review vendors performance on monthly basis

• Ensure to collect 100% POD from the transporters

• resolve internal and external customer complaints related in transit damages and shortages

• Validating transportation bills and processing the payment by working with finance team

• To continuously enhance logistics procedures and operations, stay up to date on market trends, best practices, and developing technology

•Maintained solid connections and made sure that materials were delivered on time by coordinating with domestic transporters to supply materials within TAT and ensure revenue recognition.

• Monitoring revenue recognition as per ERP data (oracle)

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar discipline is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in logistics management, ideally

• Excellent analytical abilities and familiarity with IT Tools (Oracle) and MS Tools (MS Excel) for data analysis.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the capacity to work well with a variety of stakeholders and teams.
