Job Description

D2D: This resource will be responsible for analyzing and documenting processes using techniques such as swim-lane diagrams; for example, analyze and document how clinical study IDs (protocol IDs) are entered across various business functions and systems, along with related roles/responsibilities and data. Analyze data; measure and monitor data quality and consistency; develop data validation techniques and solutions; for example, analyze study status values across multiple systems and determine data inconsistencies. Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts in various data governance initiatives; help drive consensus across teams and stakeholders in matters related to data governance. Develop business glossaries, data catalogs, data dictionaries, data quality rules/measures, develop/maintain related documentation and information portals. Assist in testing and documentation for data governance solutions, e.g., data quality tools developed using Tableau or other technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance-related inquiries and issues, offering guidance and advice to internal teams as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

 5+ years of experience as a data analyst working with large data sets within the clinical space

 Strong knowledge of the clinical trials lifecycle, including a good understanding of process and data related to clinical trial operations (NOT patient data management).

 Experience with any CTMS (clinical trial management system) and other related systems such as Asset and Portfolio Management, eTMF, Veeva systems.

 Good understanding of SQL and the ability to analyze data independently, e.g., run SQL queries to extract, load, integrate, transform and compute data, analyze data using Excel, etc.

 Ability to create process and data maps, e.g., use Visio to create swim lane process diagrams and data flow diagrams.

 High dependability and integrity; the ability to work on multiple initiatives at the same time, manage own work and time, communicate well (oral/written), work with business users at various levels, lead workshops and collaborative discussions, create good documentation Oracle/Siebel

 Experience with regulatory systems (Veeva SV and Gratis is strong plus) and other related systems such as Asset and Portfolio Management, eTMF, Veeva systems. null
