Our Senior Commercial Operations Manager’s mission is to manage initiatives within a commercial landscape to ensure process efficiency and data quality working along with Finance and Procurement teams; hence contributing to client service levels and to dsm-Firmenich business partners. This individual is expected to participate in commercial meetings serves as the point person for all commercial related activities (customer, projects, reports, processes, industrialization, tools)

Your key responsibilities:

• Manage operational analysis to improve data visibility and drive informed commercial actions

• Partner with the planning team to manage forecasting and pre-production planning and d rive forecast accuracy initiatives.

• Manage business outlook, budget plans, latest estimates considering business risks and opportunities

• Lead process improvement projects driving efficient commercial flow and sales growth

• Act as power user of key tools supporting team training and intelligent report design (ie SAP among others)

• Drive efficient portfolio management throughout product lifecycle, ensuring product compliance

• Manage data quality checks through identification of missing and incorrect commercial data to prevent operational delays

• Develop and track key metrics driving commercial delivery improvement

• Serve as liaison with Operations to ensure smooth industrialization flow of new product launches. Represent commercial team on operations regular and strategic meetings.

• Manage strategic sales analysis supporting projections, fiscal budgeting, price and profitability along with Pricing office and Financial controlling teams.

• Anticipate business needs and articulate solutions to key internal business partners

• Capture market insights through competitive intelligence reporting

  You bring

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required

• 5-7 years of experience in Sales, Finance, Planning, Operations or similar role

• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and CRM Experience with systems such as SAP, SAP front end, Webi, PowerBi

• Infographics skills are strongly preferred . Manage project and/or small team

• Experience in the Perfumery, Ingredients, and Flavors Industry (recommended)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong organizational and timeline management skills
