POSITION: Senior Data Engineer, Game Analytics LOCATION: 622 Broadway, New York, NY 10012 DUTIES: Create connections between numerous data generating and consuming systems to enable company’s analytic partners. Maintain different databases and data platforms that are used for internal processes and by our partner teams. Create and maintain different Kafka topics to enable to data transfer between systems. Write Spark code to ingest and manipulate data. Create and maintain all of the related systems that are used to support, monitor, and enable our different data processes. Backup and restore data to prevent catastrophic data loss. Enable the creation of data models and other data tables for use in reporting and analytics. Create real time streaming pipelines using Kafka and Spark. Utilize cloud technologies to build out a new data ecosystem. *Hybrid WFH/office arrangement is possible. MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience in a related occupation SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Spark;Python;Java;Linux;Databases;Kafka. * The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
