Job Duties: SEM account management: Manage and optimize marketing activities to ensure profitable user growth. Activities include ad testing, bid adjustments, A/B experiments, landing page improvements, and more. Marketing performance: Tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of our marketing activities and ad-hoc analytics requests. Data analytics: Analyze internal customer data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet reporting (Excel), web analytics platforms (Google/Adobe Analytics), and other software tools. Ancillary marketing activities: Assist in secondary activities to expand to new marketing channels, test new geographical markets, and assist in other activities that require a collaboration with design, product, or engineering. May work from home when not reporting to Seattle, WA office

Specials Skills: Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/knowledge includes: Experience building out basic reporting (charts, formatting, data analysis) and proficiency with general analytical formulas (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP). Knowledge of basic SQL syntax and able to run SQL queries to pull business data for reporting purposes. Experience pulling data from various sources (i.e. database., marketing accounts, analytics platforms) to analyze marketing performance effectively. Experience building out and managing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns on search platforms Google and Microsoft. Understands the fundamentals of these ad networks and best practices in order to optimize results toward a given goal. Proficient with writing ad copy for text ads to be used on SEM networks like Google and Microsoft. Understands best practices for SEM text ads and able to test different messaging themes to optimize ad copy for a target audience. Experience building out and managing online marketing campaigns. Be involved in the process of planning, testing, and monitoring the campaign and making data-driven decisions to optimize results.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications or closely related field plus one (1) year of experience as a Marketing Analyst, in the job offered, or closely related occupation.

In Seattle metro, the expected salary range for the role is $90,100 - $121,900 / year. Several factors are considered to determine starting pay: job/level, location/metropolitan area, skillset, peer compensation.
