As a Client Services Associate, you will assist participants through their financial journey utilizing the tools/resources available through Pensionmark’ s proprietary SMARTMap Financial Wellness (https://smartmap.pensionmark.com/) program. Through this position, you will receive ongoing hands-on training, mentoring, and open communication in a team-oriented environment. With the responsibility for the day-to-day duties of servicing clients and advisors, the Client Services Associate helps ensure that all customer communication is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with integrity, ensuring satisfaction.
Support customers spread across various geographical locations.
Guide transactional requests related to account changes, rollovers, loans, and withdrawals, coordinating with retirement plan providers as necessary.
Manage participant interactions in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and follow up with customers as needed.
Assist customers with enrollment in SMARTMap’s Financial Wellness program resources and tools.
Actively collaborate with the Client Services Team and Advisor Support departments to enhance overall client satisfaction and find appropriate solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency, actively participating in the evolution of our service delivery.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to client support.
Consistently adhere to industry best practices, maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.
Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
Job Qualifications /Skills to Bring
BA/BS degree from an accredited university preferred, but not required
Previous experience in the finance and/or investment market/securities preferred, but not required
1-3 years of experience in customer service, operations support or administrative support role
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
Superb verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Superb computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and/or HubSpot
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and to proactively seek new responsibilities
Ability to work well in a team environment with multiple departments
Emotional intelligence (EQ), Attunement and Empathy
Compensation
The hourly rate for this non-exempt position generally ranges between $23.00-$32.00 per hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
