You are encouraged to improve and maintain existing DeltaV products including real-time embedded firmware in controllers and field devices directly controlling the process, as well as develop the next generation DeltaV system.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop technologies to maintain our market leadership using the latest tools and frameworks. Write tests in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality. Test and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.

• Write and automate test cases to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product

• Help the scrum team continuously improve its environment and processes.

• Foster a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers’ design and code and participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives. Take part in Hackathons, Tech-talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded people.

• Other tasks ordered by the supervisor, which fit into or correspond to the type and nature of work in this position.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 1+ years of experience

• Experience testing application software and/or embedded firmware products

• Designing and developing test cases from a user perspective

• Knowledge of working in an Agile Scrum Team

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience with test automation and frameworks

• Experience with version control using GIT

• Experience in the process control industry
